LOVE - by Culturesse

Date Posted:23 December 2021

A celebration of love and cultures. Explore Love Jewellery Edition - made to last a lifetime.

Chinese symbols hold a history of more than 100,000 years. The symbol 愛 means to love someone deeply from the heart. The centre of the love symbol is Yin or ‘heart’ which conveys the idea of tenderness and devotion of love, and the action of loving, cherishing, and treasuring someone. This is not only romantic love, but it also encompasses love for parents, siblings, and friends.

Culturesse Love Jewellery Collection is inspired by Chinese culture - one of the four ancient civilisations and one of the world’s oldest cultures. This collection includes earrings and matching pendant necklaces, available in gold or silver. Each piece is crafted in solid sterling silver with either 24k rolled gold (gold filled), or precious white rhodium plating which gives the pieces a bright and brilliant silver shine that endures. Each piece is of congruent quality and made to last a lifetime.

This collection embodies ancient Chinese cultural elements that are eternal and widely appreciated in our modern Australian society. Directed by Charlene Davies, photography by Timothy Neil, starring by Brielle Ying and William Tan, beauty by Alison Azzopardi, this collection is presented in a visual storytelling way threaded by 3 chapters - Youth, Ebbs & Flows, and Blossom. Each chapter symbolises a different stage of love infused with reminisce, cultural roots, respect for ancient Chinese cultures and immigrants, and aesthetic elements capturing the spirit of Chinese culture.
